Nothing escapes my field of view! Photo courtesy of David Head. Thanks!
I attended this year’s Annual World Wide Photo Walk organized by Scott Kelby and the many Photo Walk Leaders in over 900 cities around the world with some 30,000 participants. For those who aren’t sure what a photo walk is, it is generally where a person travels around (on foot) a specific location(s) photographing anything and everything that inspires them. There is usually no set purpose of what to photograph, but rather to let inspiration and creativity inspire. I attended the San Francisco Photo Walk led by Lenny Lind. Pics inside.

Because of my sister’s graduation from San Francisco State University (SFSU), I didn’t attend FAnime on Saturday. But Sunday turned out to be quite a good turn out. Thugs started getting pretty busy around 11 AM and was non-stop hustle and bustle.
Like many other photographers, we at Bui Photography had a number of private photo shoots lined up. In total for Sunday, we did 4 scheduled photo shoots with 3 more random unscheduled photo shoots. For those who are interested in just seeing the pics, click here. To read more and see pics from the photo shoots, click in.

My friend, and fellow photographer, Chris Le and I did some urban photography around Santana Row in Santa Clara. Santana Row is a great place to take night photographs because of all the neon lights and colors which makes for some interesting shots. To see Chris’ amazing shots check out his Flickr stream; my pictures are here.

Eric and I went kite surfing this past Sunday…photographing, not actually doing. The weather was great with a very good amount of wind that let the kite surfers really fly! Plus the last couple of times we had been out there, the weather either has been bad or the sky has been hazy. It was perfect day to be kite surfing.
Also got a chance to use Eric’s Canon EF 200 f/1.8L USM lens, a rare and awesome lens that can produce amazing bokeh. The last two pics of the young lady sitting on the rocks is a demonstration of what f/4 (young lady reading) versus f/1.8 (which was actually recorded as f/1.625 in the EXIF). Amazing eh?

Here’s a random photograph of San Francisco City Hall I did a while back. The building is just absolutely gorgeous and amazing. If you ever have the opportunity to visit, it’s definitely worth a stop to look around inside.

Just out and about randomly snapping pictures around San Francisco City Hall when I noticed a Marine veteran and his Navy veteran friend conversing. I thought his jacket was cool and would make a cool shot against City Hall, it also gave me an opportunity to thank the brave soldiers.

I have always liked the Golden Gate Bridge. Something about it, like all bridges, that seems to be just bring things together. I have always been trying to find unique ways to capture the Golden Gate Bridge, but when you are there looking through the viewfinder, it’s hard not to be captured by the magnificence of it. So here are just a few simple snaps for the time being.
There are also some shots I took while I was exploring Grandview Park.
I was using my Canon EOS Rebel XTi and Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM. The rest of the pics are here.
