At last minute, Eric and I decided to go check out the Southwest Airlines Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco. From what I’ve heard, this is the first year that it hasn’t rained, which makes it a good opportunity to get some pictures.
We scoped out a nice little spot at Montgomery and Market and fired away. The turn out was quite good and we had a lot of fun! Notable attendees were Betty Yee (Board of Equalization), Jackie Speier (California State Senator), Leland Y. Lee (California State Senator), Fiona Ma (California Assemblywoman), David Campos (San Francisco Supervisor District 9), Tom Ammiano (California Assemblyman), Sean Elsbernd (San Francisco Supervisor District 7), Bevan Dufty (San Francisco Supervisor District 8), Sophie Maxwell (San Francisco Supervisor District 10), Phil Ting (San Francisco Accessor Recorder), Jeff Adachi (San Francisco Public Defender), Kamala D. Harris (San Francisco District Attorney), Dennis Herrera (San Francisco City Attorney), David Chiu (San Francisco Supervisor 3), Gavin Newson (San Francisco Mayor) with his wife, Jennifer Siebel.
