Eric and I had the great opportunity of being some of the official photographers for the 2008 San Francisco Renaissance Faire at Speedway Meadow in Golden Gate Park. It was an excellent event with a lot of eager and willing subjects to be photographed. I can definitely tell that a lot of time and effort was put forth on creating their costumes. The colors and the realism was stunning.
The live action jousting was also very cool.
I had the esteem pleasure of photographing this wonderful couple on August 08, that’s right, 08-08-08, a lucky number in Chinese/Asian culture. I’m a bit late on the posting, I promise to be better in the future! Linnette and Kimberly have been dating for 8 years now and had recently decided to tie the knot and proclaim their everlasting love to each other.
It was a whirlwind of last minute preparations for both the happy couple, but everything managed to work out in the end. They were married by their friend, San Francisco District 9 Supervisor Tom Ammiano at the very pretty San Francisco City Hall. The entire ceremony itself, lasted all but a wonderful and sweet 15 minutes. Both were a bit nervous leading up the ceremony, but were beaming after all was said and done.
